What is FEAST - North Yorkshire Together
SELFA
SELFA run a full programme of activities for school-age children (4-19) who either live, attend school or are registered to a GP Practice in North Yorkshire. This included health and wellbeing programmes, peer-support groups, one-to-one mental health support, targeted holiday workshops and trips & residentials. Staff and volunteers take time to build relationships with children and young people and create a safe and supportive environment that encourages them to thrive.
If you are a parent/carer of a young person, or a professional working with a young person or family who would benefit from SELFA, the first step is to complete a referral form. You will also be asked to upload a ‘pen picture’ telling us about the child. If self-referring, please give details of any professionals working with you or your child.
You will receive an automatic reply to confirm receipt of referral. The referral will then be reviewed by the appropriate Children & Young People’s Worker who will contact the parent/carer to discuss suitable support. This will usually be within two weeks but may take longer if received during the school holidays.
Most of our communications are sent by email, so please provide an email address.
