Belvoir  £600 April 2024

A big thank you goes to the team at Belvoir lettings in Skipton who decided to send all their Christmas cards electronically last year and donate the money saved by this switch to a local charity. The team had a collection in branch. 

Kevin and Jayne popped in to out weekly assembly  (today 25.4.24) and surprised us with a cheque for £600 which will make a huge impact on our playground resources.  

We really are most grateful to everyone's generosity at Belvoir and  thank them so much for choosing Brooklands as the recipients.

Blackpool Trip 14/6/23

The whole school enjoyed a trip to Blackpool on Monday 14th June. This was made possible by the Rotary clubs in Skipton kind donation.

Children were given a choice of the Zoo or the Pleasure Beach and it was a pretty even split. 

Star Coaches of Batley escorted us there in style and the sun had is hat on all day and managed to avoid the thunder storms completely!

The seagulls were a little bit cheeky and enjoyed a nibble on a couple of lunches at the Zoo.

At the pleasure beach the thrill seekers had a fantastic time and got soaked on the Valhallar ride. 

Thankfully everyone got an Ice cream which was a welcome treat in the heat!

Blackpool June 23

School Quad

Thank you goes to Spar in Grassington for their kind donation of flowers/plants of our quad/sensory garden.  The children have loved  being involved in this project and making a beautiful place for them to relax.
