Welcome to Oak class
This term oak have focused upon the Victorians. We went to abbey house museum to visit the real life Victorian Street and to learn how they did their washing.
We dressed up as Florence nightingale and Victorian men and women. Florence’s hospital opened and we learnt how to make medicine. Florence also taught many nurses and doctors how to clean the hospital an to get rid of those awful rats!
We have been looking at friendships and accepting others for who they are. We have read lots of books but we loved one in particular called ‘something else’ .
We have done some fantastic work in science looking at electricity. We can now bake buns, biscuits and scones. We even know how to clean up again afterwards including the washing up.
Lastly we organised some fundraising for SELFA and raised £120 and celebrated national hot chocolate day!
