• Tuesday 21 November 2023 Santa Fun Run We are very excited to be entering a team for the Great Santa Fun Run this year. We are raising money for school in particular for our residentials programme. If you can support us to reach our £500 target please donate and/or come and cheer us on!
• Wednesday 14 June 2023 GMI unites supply chain to deliver £200,000 Rebound Therapy Centre A much-needed therapy centre for children with special educational needs has been formally handed over after companies from GMI Construction Group’s supply chain teamed up to donate £200,000 worth of their time, skill, equipment and cost of building materials. The Rebound Therapy Building at Brooklands School in Skipton features a trampoline that will provide its more than 80 pupils with valuable therapeutic exercise promoting strength and co-ordination as well as developing communication skills and alleviating anxiety. GMI Construction Group, together with McLaren Developments, all provided their services free of charge as part of Yorkshire Children’s Charity’s Great Yorkshire Build initiative. An existing garage had to be demolished by GMI and its supply chain partners and the foundations laid before work was completed on the building’s envelope, roof and internal fit out, including a trampoline and pit. Finishing touches to the exterior were applied and the car park reinstated,

• Thursday 1 December 2022 The Great Yorkshire Build We are so grateful to be the recipients of the Great Yorkshire Build and I know you will join with me in thanking the Charity, and everyone else involved in this initiative for everything they are doing to improve our learning environment and improve the opportunities and outcomes for our children and young people.
• Friday 22 July 2022 Brooklands Prom 2022 After a long 2 years, Brooklands Post 16 team held their much anticipated Prom. What a night it was! Sam and the team put on the most magnificent evening to celebrate successes and to wish our leavers new and old all the luck in the work for their new adventures at Brooklands Post 16 and their new Post 19 placements .

• Tuesday 25 January 2022 Great British Bird Watch Willow class have been getting involved with the Great British Bird watch this week and last. Last week we started to make our own biodegradable bird feeders which we then put out for the birds today. We then spent some time watching to see if any birds came and ate from them . They must have been feeling shy as we only saw a few and a couple of squirrels. We then watched the live stream from around the country and saw many different birds and checked them off our checklist.
• Thursday 16 December 2021 Santa Special Blossom and Cherry Class had a fantastic time on the Santa Special. Lots of sights, sounds and smiling. The best part of our train ride.... we got to meet the great man himself, Santa. They say a picture speaks a thousand words. These sure do! A very special adventure
